Why?
He stands up when she leaves the table/room.
He opens doors for her.
(based solely on the last two movies)
He understands that she is fully capable of doing what needs to be done, but
He recognizes her vulnerability and that with a little tender loving care, she will be able to do what is necessary.
Guys, take note.

Also, it doesn't hurt if you have dead sexy, piercing blue eyes, a delicious accent, and wear suits like a second skin. You know, on top of all that other important stuff.
