Blind dating

Many people keep telling me they are going to set me up with someone they know, but so far only one person has done it. So here is my fantastic story about how I set MYSELF up on a blind date.
First of all, I have season tickets to the Symphony. I think its fantastic even though I shouldn't have spent the money. So every time I go, I have to find someone to go with me. I am getting a little tired of the dating game right now, as boys have a tendency to not talk to me for about two months after I go out with them on a first date. So I asked one of my friends, Singer's Son, if he was able to come. Sadly, he was not. But then the first Blind Date guy called me back. So I thought, perfect! No pressure. Unfortunately, he has gotten back together with a girl he had been previously seeing. By that time I was a little fed up. I called my sister for some reason and asked her if she knew any cute guys who liked the Symphony. Apparently, there was a guy visiting from her ward and essentially (to make a long story short) now I am going with him. I have never met him, I talked to him on the phone last night to work out details of going, but that is it.
Sad that my life has come to this. Setting myself up on blind dates.

Setting yourself up is ok. Just keep trying. Or give yourself a break for a while. I got tired of guys treating me like the plague by either never asking me out or never talking to me again after I asked them out. So take a break (if you want). It might save your sanity.
