We haven't caught up in forever. Probably because my last three weeks have been sheer insanity, and I've been kind of stressed. I realized that this morning when my mind woke me up at five because it was thinking about so many things. I've broken out and have a cold sore, those are definite signs that I am too stressed. Here is the list without details.
Old relationship (flying to Brazil tomorrow)
New relationship (more on that later)
Watching four kids for a week
Independent Study Class
Grad school - both the university application and the program application
Getting a job - especially since California just fired a bunch of teachers, and all students in the grad program are currently teaching.
Anyway, so there's my little list as to why you probably haven't gotten as much info as you might like. For the most current info, it probably is best to call, but here is some stuff you might like to know. ;-)
Yes, I got into the University I applied to. Right now I just need to register for an English class because that is the only thing keeping me from being admitted into my program. Should be easy, but since I don't know when (or where) I am going to be working, its not as high on my priority list as it should be.
I am planning on taking my final for the independent study class this week and then hopefully I'll be able to focus more on the Grad school thing.
The relationship - not going as well as I would like. He's a little bit of a committment phobe, and doesn't want to be dating, but I see him once a week (which he plans) and he calls me every other day. And yes, there is kissing involved. So maybe he's got a Utah idea of dating. Good news is, he is thirty. Yes, I can hear your shouts of hurrah! Thank you, thank you, he is older than me. He is almost six two, a mechanical engineer and he is from Orem. He has a dry sense of humor and it takes a little bit to recognize that he is joking, but once you do, it is pretty funny.
For more information, you'll have to call and harass me. But there is a little bit for you, and anyone who was a little curious (including my cousin, sorry I didn't tell you more sooner!). So we'll see what happens. No guarantees.

Thanks for the update! Congrats on the University. I'm sure you'll be able to find a job, especially if you know this is where you are supposed to be. And maybe your 30 year-old mechanical engineer is just a little gun shy. Or maybe he likes being control. Or maybe he is just an emotionally stunted male. Who knows. Are you keeping the 25th of July open? I'm totally coming down for the X-Files movie and you have to be there. That will stir your friend up a little.
Yay! I was waiting for some news. 30, huh? As long as you're happy. ;)
I just typed in a bunch of stuff and I think that I lost all of it when I attempted to register. So here goes again. Sorry about "Brazil Boy", he wasn't any where near 6' (what is it with you girls and guys that are 6'2"?) Good luck with your brother and finding something to do with him. The bad knees are a new one to me. Well, know that you are loved (even if it is by an "older" man). Hope to see you soon. The Old Man
I hate it when that happens. Brazil boy just needs help. I really don't have anything for guys over six foot, that just happens to be how tall Molasses Man happens to be. I might just leave my brother at my sister's, he'd probably enjoy more. I think he must have played Halo all day today. It's good to know I am loved ;-), but I think you are younger than me still! Good to hear from you Old Man.
