A door closes, a window opens

The question is, do you really want that window?

Last night I called my friend from Wyoming and she really wanted to set me up with this guy. He's currently in Wyoming, but his family is in Orem and he comes down all the time. So after she and I got off the phone, he called me. And we talked for about an hour and a half. He was really nice. He was driving down today, so we met at ColdStone and had ice cream. Sometimes I don't like talking to people before I meet them because I always create a picture of them in my head that never matches their appearance. He looks very rugged, (rugg-ed? How do you spell that?) but not so much that its scary. Well, he looks like a country dancer, which he is. His looks kind of remind me of FarmBoy. He has taught survival classes, but he also dances and sings and likes classic movies. He was very nice and I've decided that I'll have to give him another date before I pass judgement. The biggest potential problem I see is that he is divorced with three kids, and I've realized that I have definite opinions about how children should (or at least how my children will) be raised.
So that's my initial impression. I am looking forward to moving to California and dating new material. Is that bad?

8, 6, and 2. I'm not sure its going to work out though. He hasn't called me back and I'm moving. If something else happens, great, if not, well, there's always California!
